what did
the Brits do here, buying up all those Spanish houses and flats. They
don't all seem to be rich either, but I suppose if you own a house in
England, you're sitting on a gold mine. I can't blame those brits who
want to live in the Canaries.
Where else in europe can you go for a dip in the sea and sunbathe in
November.Please let me know! |

qu'est-ce
que les rosbifs ont-ils fait ici? Ils ont acheté toutes ces
maisons et appartements espagnols, en plus ils n'ont pas tous l'air
riches. Mais je suppose que si on possède une maison en
Angleterre on est assis sur une mine d'or!

façon où en Europe peut-on se baigner au mois de

IF, then there is plenty to discover on the geological and biological
directions.And even more important one can try and get a glimpse of how
the canariens live. |

particulièrement impressionnant. |

plant life is rather special depending on the weather conditions, more
luxuriant in the north and drought loving plants in the south. The
volcano has much influence as well and is surrounded by a forest of
canary pine. The north-east has a laurel forest. The agriculture is
special too and consists of banana plantations under plastic, tomatoes
and small local figs. |

vie végétale est assez spéciale selon les
conditions météo: plus luxuriante dans le nord et plantes
préférant la sécheresse dans le sud. Le volcan a
son influence aussi et il est entouré d'un forêt de pins
canariens. L'agriculture, elle aussi est spéciale et consiste de
bananeraies sous plastique, tomates et petites figues locales. |
| Life
in town
has that spanish feel. One can note a speciality of wooden balconies
more or less elaborate. The roads in general are of a very good
quality: a bit narrow in the mountains sometimes but considering the
terrain one mustn't complain. |

a cette touche espagnole, on peut noter toutefois une
spécialité locale: le balcon en bois plus ou moins
orné. Les routes sont d'une bonne qualité: un peu
exiguës en montagne parfois mais, vu le terrain, rien à
dire. |
