168- Far ahead, Grenoble's cultural centre, MC2.

169- Closer to MC2, Flaubert road's points.
We are back in the railway handling yard between Stalingrad road and Marcelin Berthelot avenue. Looking towards the Belledonne mountains, we can see the Grenoble Cultural Centre, MC2. As we get closer, we see the start of Albert of Vigny road. Many of these tracks  are still there, but they will soon be gone because the land will become the future Flaubert Park, part of the green corridor between different neighbourhoods. For now, we will follow Gustave Flaubert road, there are a still lots of private sidings.

We are now coming to  the old Métalisère recycling company. It is at the heart of the Vigny-Musset neighbourhood development and all the tracks have been pulled up from here on, at least, I haven't found any, unfortunately!
But all is not lost, thanks to Google's delay in updating their images for Google Maps, I found them. There is also an older image found on the remarkable website of Stéphane Revel. I recommend a visit, there are many other photographs  of private sidings and other industrial heritage sites taken over the past ten years or so. The link is below.

193- Following alongside Albert de Vigny road.

194- Underneath the cars, the branch lines for Métalisère.

195- The same place around 2000, tracks go through the building.

196- The line continues on Alfred de Vigny road, here at the Lucien Andrieux road junction.

197- Continuing along Alfred de Vigny road, here at Guy de Maupassant road junction.

All these last images are no longer visible on the ground, the Vigny-Musset neighbourhood is booming. However, with Google Images, we have been able to complete our tour of the private sidings on the 'La Capuche' line.
Now it remains only to return to Marcelin Berthelot avenue, opposite the Cultural Centre, to conclude our tour of the old Chambery line.
